Refurbishments & Retrofits

Metform can bring your old metal forming equipment back to life. Whether it’s Metform’s or our competitor’s, our refurbishment and retrofit programs provide our customers the ability to get additional production out of their existing equipment. Our refurbishments include disassembly, cleaning and inspection of your equipment. We replace any worn or damaged parts and re-assemble the equipment. Any new components are supplied with a new parts warranty.


Retrofit projects focus on upgrades and improvements to existing equipment. Typical projects include:

  • Gear to universal conversions

  • Addition of new passes

  • Addition/upgrade of new roll former components eg. welder, un-coiler, stacker

  • Line extensions

  • Tooling re-work and upgrade


All projects include engineering, drawings and project management, just like a new metal forming equipment order.
