Automatic Stackers for metal forming equipment
The handling of flat sheets or roll formed parts can be slow, cumbersome and labour intensive.. This results in lower productivity and higher costs as the production line is reduced to a slower production rate in order to allow the part stacking function to keep up with the overall process. A properly designed stacker will allow components to be moved from the end of the production line onto a well organized stack, automatically quickly and efficiently without disrupting or delaying the overall production.
Often times the bottleneck for roll forming lines is the process of removing product from the end of the line. This should be considered an opportunity to improve overall production efficiency with the use of a stacker.
