WELDED PROFILE LINES
Metform produces roll form lines specifically designed for tubular parts of varying design and thickness. These roll formers utilize in-line welding of the profile. Typically welding methods include HFI (high frequency induction) for “butt welds” and rotary spot welding for “lap joints”.
Metform supplies its own design of weld box and associated fixtures such as “fin pass” and “scarfing” tools.
Pre-notching may also be incorporated to eliminate secondary operations. Metform also supplies flying cut-off presses and die tooling for part specific requirements
Metform supplies weld boxes to accommodate different types of welding such as high frequency induction (HFI), rotary spot or laser.
